Flotsam

Another wave slips from the shoreline

Drawing back it releases its hold

Shards of creation soon to be swallowed

As the waters returns and covers it's tracks

Ebb and flow in the waves of salvation

Out of the shadows bubbling with life

Temporary respite from the darkness that follows

When the waters return and cover their tracks

The deluge recedes regaining it's power

Gathering horses for another charge

Breathe hard for a moment, a life in the shallows

'Fore the water's return and covers it's tracks

Drowning now in the waves of damnation

Battle the tides that fall on the shore

Sit for a moment, but the calm is just borrowed

As the waters return and resumes its attacks
