As
Innocence lays his guilt on you,
The
ignorance in his life shines through.
Raised
high upon his ego's pedestal,
He
barks his words with thought so skeletal.
Do
this!
Do
that!
Do
it now!
Do
it yesterday!
Results,
results, results!
Deadlines,
deadlines, deadlines!
Missed!
Your
fault!
My
fault?
Not
yours, who shows no inspiration.
Not
yours, whose skills have limitations.
Not
yours, who tramples souls to dust.
Not
yours, whose words breed distrust.
Do
this!
Do
that!
Do
it this way!
Do
it that way!
Do
it my way!
Top
gun, top dog, number one!
Deadlines,
deadlines, deadlines!
Missed!
You
all failed!
We
failed?
Not
you, who commands without control.
Not
you, whose words embitter souls.
Not
you, who cannot see the light.
Not
you, because you're always right
As
Innocence shines his guilt on you,
Strength
and truth will see you through.
The
path he walks he treads alone.
Leading
only to his craven throne.
Each
and every curse he screams,
Fall
on deafened ears or so it seems.
The
worthless turn their backs on him,
The
light of the innocent is not so dim.
