When
at first I saw her
She never
noticed me
So
wonderful, so beautiful
So elegant
and free
As I
gazed upon her
She barely
moved a muscle
And as
the winds arose
The
leaves began to rustle
As
she looked around her
She
prodded down her coat
A
graceful preen of beauty
Not
seeing as I wrote
And
when she moved position
So
delicate and pure
Her eyes
they glanced around
A
movement glimpsed for sure
Just
once our glances met
Over
coffee this cold morn
And
with a final flourish
Like
the wind, was gone
